Keith L. Schrimsher was raised in Roswell, New Mexico while working with the family farm business. He is a 1974 high school graduate of New Mexico Military Institute. In 1981 Keith earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from New Mexico State University. He returned to the family business in 1981 and in 1982 began his career in the agricultural real estate business. Since then Keith has achieved the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers highest accredited designation as an Accredited Rural Appraiser, A.R.A. He is a New Mexico real estate broker and a state-licensed and certified real estate appraiser. Keith is the past Chairman of the New Mexico Real Estate Appraisal Board. Schrimsher Ranch Real Estate, LLC was developed by Keith in 1994. He is the owner and broker-in-charge. Keith and his wife, Micki, also own and operate a horse and Brangus cattle ranch west of Roswell. The ranch activities and operations include ownership and management of Desert Mule Deer contained with a "Class A Game Park". He feels the greatest benefit of the ranch is to provide his two young boys the opportunity of stewardship and respect for the resource and animals.
